Welcome to Video Game Harmony

What makes a good game? Is it the story? Is it the challenge? Is it just how fun it is overall? All of these are important attributes of a game, but one of the most important things for me is the soundtrack. If you think about it, that makes a big difference in your game experience. It can make the game exciting, intense, and overall dull, just to name a few feelings brought about by the score. Obviously the music is important for the game experience, but on top of that a really good soundtrack is one that you can enjoy listening to outside of the game. That’s how I discover many games, from soundtrack mixes on sites such as YouTube or Spotify. Because of how much I like the background score within video games, that’s why I decided to create this page. This will be a blog to post soundtrack reviews, news, polls, and whatever I feel like. I look forward to discussions that can be had within this page, and to all video game music enthusiasts, welcome!

P.S. If you’re enough of a nerd then you may already know this, but the first picture is a note block from Super Mario Bros 3, and the second is an NES Horn from Wii Music.
